PR-Performance Running’s half marathon training program information and benefits.

We offer a 13 week training program where our experienced coaches will help prepare you for your half marathon.

The half marathon training program starts on Saturday, June 18th, for the Fox Valley Half Marathon on Sunday, September 16th, but we can adjust this program to fit ANY fall half marathon race you may have chosen to run.

Program Benefits:

  • 13 week training program designed to meet your specific race goals
  • Individualized coaching from accomplished runners that are RRCA certified
  • Wednesday group runs starting at Dick Pond Athletics in St. Charles, view MAP for directions
  • Saturday group runs starting at LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve, St. Charles, view MAP for directions
  • Group runs led by a team of dedicated pacers at each 30 second pace interval from 8:00 per minute mile to 11:00 per minute mile
  • Water and Gatorade support on all group runs
  • Weekly emails providing training tips and advice
  • Wednesday night discounts at Dick Pond Athletics for program participants
  • Gear check, water, Gatorade and all your last minute needs will be provided at our PR Club tent for the Fox Valley Half Marathon in the Athlete’s Village
  • Clinics that provide information on proper running gear, injury prevention, proper stretching and more…
  • End of season party to celebrate your accomplishments!
